Linda-Marie BarrettLinda-Marie Barrett / Executive Director:
Reading: The Great Remembering by June Cohen. An interesting overview of ancient wisdom systems, as Cohen refers to them, offering useful knowledge and applications for today’s world. Currently reading about saunas and cold plunges and their positive effects on our physical and mental health.
Listening:
To someone power-washing their home for the last three days. Make it stop.
Watching:
Enjoying the newest season of Death in Paradise on Acorn. Continuing to enjoy the deeply moving and often funny The Big C.

Candice HuberCandice Huber / Membership:
Reading: Nothing has changed here in a while, still trying to finish The Shadow Cabinet and the Black Panther mutual aid guide.
Listening
: Record Store Day was the Saturday before Indie Bookstore Day, and I obtained some great records. My favorite was actually not a Record Store Day exclusive, but a random find called Putt Putt Golf Courses of America Presents Gee Gee Shin and His Band. It's a promotional record from 1967 that they apparently handed out to try to get people to play putt-putt golf. Gee Gee Shin is a legendary swamp pop musician from Louisiana, and the record was so much better than I thought it would be. I love weird ephemera like this!
Watching
: I started re-watching The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air as my late-night crafting show, and it's still hysterical and holds up super well!

Nicki LeoneNicki Leone / Communications:
Reading: I possibly went overboard on Independent Bookstore Day because I came home with about 12 books and a box of Blackwing pencils. At the top of the stack are We Are Green and Trembling by Gabriela Cabezon Camara, White Moss by Anna Nerkagi, and Written on the Water by Eileen Chang.
Listening: Forbidden Notebook by Alba de Céspedes
Watching: Not much on TV, to be honest. It is spring, so I'm doing a lot of "observing" and posting photos to iNaturalist.

SP RankinSP Rankin / Website Administrator:
Reading: I am sadly behind in reading right now, and my TBR shelf is about to give up on me. Hang in there, TBR shelf!
Listening:
I am grateful for whatever the playlist delivers unto me at any given moment. At this particular moment, it is "Days Like This" by Van Morrison.
Watching:
Cloudy, rainy skies, which are welcome after a too-dry last few weeks.

Andi RichardsonAndrea Richardson / Sales:
Reading: I just got a long-awaited DRC of the final book in the Ruby and Cordelia trilogy from Olivia Blacke and I CANNOT WAIT to dig into it. It's a really cute cozy-ish murder mystery where the crime solving pair are a living and a ghost.
Listening: I finished Yesteryear and now I have an audio book hangover! I don't know what to choose next.
Watching: Still waiting for new seasons of things to start!
