SIBA for Industry and Authors
connect to hundreds of stores and thousands of customers and readers
Benefits of Membership
Welcome to the Southern Independent Booksellers Alliance (SIBA), your connection to reaching hundreds of booksellers (and thousands of their customers) in the South. SIBA makes it easy for you to target your advertising and marketing dollars effectively through a wide range of print and online advertising and sponsorship options designed to reach booksellers, media and consumers.
HarperCollins is proud to be a member of SIBA, a partnership that allows us to connect with the incredible community of booksellers across the South. This membership not only helps us amplify the voices of our authors and their books but also deepens our appreciation for the invaluable work of independent booksellers. We see the impact every time a bookseller champions one of our titles, and we’re grateful for their passion and dedication to sharing great stories.
~ Ronnie Kutys, HarperCollins"My success was due entirely to independent booksellers who 'handsold' my little books. My signing events were so well-attended and personal—all due to the amazing folks who work in bookstores BECAUSE THEY LOVE BOOKS and they KNOW AND LOVE their CUSTOMERS who also LOVE BOOKS!"
~ Jill Conner Browne, author of The Sweet Potato Queens' Book of LoveAt Blair, as a nonprofit publisher based in North Carolina, we can’t do without SIBA. It’s those vital indie press-to-indie bookseller connections that make all the difference for our authors and their books. The NVNR conference launches our fall season. We so look forward to exhibiting on the tradeshow floor, where we truly feel like we are among our people.
~Lynn York, Blair
