Why You Should Come to the SIBA Annual Meeting

It has been a year of transformation and growth for the SIBA organization, marked by an influx of new bookstore members, the launch of new programming such as Jumpstart, a refresh of existing programs, including a complete makeover of the winter catalog, and a full database upgrade and website redesign.
Transformation and growth remain the watchwords as SIBA looks ahead to 2027, says farewell to our current executive director and plans for new leadership, and the SIBA board takes on the task of bringing SIBA's governance policies up to date.
SIBA members are always encouraged to attend the annual meeting to hear directly from the organization's leadership. SIBA's rapid evolution makes this year's meeting especially important. SIBA has gained about 12 new bookstore members each month in 2026. The annual meeting will be the first chance new members will have to meet the board and ask questions. It will also give all SIBA members a chance to hear in detail about the board's plans for SIBA's future and to share the challenges they are facing.
Register to attend the Annual Meeting below. During registration, attendees can submit topics that are most "top of mind" for discussion. SIBA will forward all topics to the board for consideration, even if they are not directly addressed during the meeting.
