The team at Parnassus will discuss how they successfully run five subscription clubs, covering book selection, branding, logistics around receiving and mailing boxes, and managing their customer database. Their Kids Events Manager will share how Parnassus developed their kids programming, growing their weekly storytimes and incorporating authors, as well as building relationships with local schools for mutual benefit.

"Members of our staff always get to talking to other booksellers about our subscription clubs at conferences," says store manager Cat Bock when asked why they chose this topic. "We wanted a chance to formally share some of our experience! Our Kids Programming has grown a lot in the last few years and Hannah is a big reason why and has great, replicable ideas to share with other booksellers."

At lunch, booksellers will meet Lokelani Alabanza, Victoria Aveyard, Christina Baker Kline, and store owner Ann Patchett:
