How to NVNR: The App
The New Voices New Rooms (NVNR) Conference app is the best tool for finding your way around NVNR. It contains an up-to-date schedule, attendee list, exhibitor directory, and author gallery. It allows you to focus your efforts according to your own priorities, track the programs you want to attend, and network with the people you want to meet. The conference app is open to all booksellers, exhibitors, and guests -- anyone who has an event pass.
How to Download the Conference App
The NVNR app is available by searching for "EventLeaf" on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store, or go here to download directly.
To access NVNR 2026, log in with the same email address you used to register for the conference. You may need to create a password for your account if this is your first time using the app.
Once you are logged in, you will see NVNR 2026 under "My Events" in your profile. Select it to enter the conference app and see your app dashboard.
The App Dashboard and "My Registration"
The Dashboard has an overview of the entire conference—the schedule, the list of authors, the exhibitors—it is all there.
Check your account!
You will find your specific registration information, including your name, registration type, and any tickets you purchased, under My Registration. If any of this information is wrong, contact NVNR Registrar Nicki Leone, or come directly to the Registration Desk when you arrive.
What you can and can't do in the app
The NVNR Conference App allows you to track events and sessions you want to see, check in and out of events, take notes, and provide feedback. It will not allow you to change your registration information, purchase tickets, or request a refund. For any of these things, visit the Registration Desk by the Grand Ballroom.
Favoriting Events, Authors, and Exhibitors
"Favorite" events, authors, and exhibitors by selecting the heart symbol by each event or person. View your favorites list by clicking on the heart at the top of the list.
This is a powerful way to reduce a huge and overwhelming schedule into something more manageable. Use favoriting to prioritize the events you want to attend, or the exhibitors you want to visit.
Select a listing to see more details:
- Schedule details include more information about the event and its presenters, as well as any handouts or resources that have been provided.
- Author details have information about the author and their book, and which event(s) they will appear at.
- Exhibitor details include company descriptions, sales rep contact information, show specials, and the booth number where they are located on the exhibit floor.
Attendee Lists, Messaging, and Meetings
The Attendee List shows all booksellers and exhibitors who are registered for NVNR. Attendees appear on the list by default, but you can change your status to "hidden" by selecting "My Status" at the top of the list. If you are hidden, you will not be visible in a search, and will be unable to send or receive direct messages or meeting requests.
To connect with another attendee on the list, select their name to bring up their record. You will be able to send them a direct message and/or request a meeting. Your request will be sent to their app account, and they can choose to reply or ignore the request. Likewise, any requests that come to you may be accepted or ignored. Your personal contact information is not shared.
Exchanging Contact Information
If you do want to exchange contact information with someone, add them to your app Contact List. Click on Contacts and then on the blue QR code circle at the top of the list to open your app scanner. Use the app to scan the badge of the person you want to add; this will put their information in your app contact list. Your contact list can be downloaded after the event into your own contacts address book.
Note: You must use the app scanner; your regular phone or other scanner will not work for badge QR codes.
Notifications
The app is designed to be easy to use and kept as up-to-date as possible, but last-minute changes happen in any event. NVNR posts alerts under Notifications to let attendees know important information: last-minute room changes or time changes, last calls for boarding buses, and so forth.
These are "push" notifications and will appear as a "new notice" on your phone, unless you have disabled push notifications on your device or for the app itself.
See the orientation video or view the slideshow for more details about the NVNR Conference App.
