Summer Catalog Participation Up from 2025

Bookstore participation in the SIBA/RAMP Indie Summer Reading Guide (aka "the summer catalog") increased significantly this year compared to 2025. 115 bookstores signed up for the summer catalog compared to 92 bookstores last year, a 25% increase in store participation. 38 bookstores are participating for the first time.

The catalog program remains one of SIBA's most tangible member benefits, and one with the highest return on investment. Not only is it useful for marketing and generating sales, but it is also a powerful tool for recruiting new customers. Some stores use the smaller summer piece to build an audience for the bigger, more extensive winter gift catalog that drops in the fall.

Although orders have closed, participating bookstores should visit the summer catalog hub to see the summer title list and access free marketing materials.

Orders for the Winter Catalog program open on May 4. On May 13, SIBA will be holding a special "Lunch and Learn" event with Suzanne Shoger, RAMP Director, who spearheads the catalog project for SIBA and other regional bookselling associations.
