Seeking Bookstores: Southern Book Prize Scavenger Hunt
SIBA bookstore members can participate in our Instagram scavenger hunt to announce the nominees for the Southern Book Prize! This scavenger hunt will drive book lovers to your store’s Instagram profile and increase your social media engagement, plus provide some fun with announcing nominees.
We’re looking for 18 SIBA bookstores to participate by posting a photo of a nominated title and tagging another participating store. Readers are then urged to “like” each post and “follow” each store while clicking through all the posts, then to fill out a form indicating they finished the hunt. All finishers will be entered into a drawing to win a $100 gift card to a participating bookstore of their choice, sponsored by SIBA.
Please fill out the form to sign up as soon as possible. Ideally, we’d love 18 stores to participate so we have one store for each of our finalists! We will provide the language for the social media posts and handle all the logistics and assignments to make it as easy as possible for you.
The deadline for member stores to opt in to participate is Friday, September 25. You will be assigned a book to include in your post and given a caption to go with it. If your store is selected to participate, you’ll receive an email with instructions from Social Media Coordinator Candice Huber.
