Things to do / Things not to miss

1. Sign up for the NVNR Orientation

A must if you are attending NVNR 2026 in Baltimore. The orientation will cover key information about the program, the Atlanta location, and what booksellers can expect from the conference. There will also be a chance for booksellers to ask questions of the event organizers.

Bookseller Orientation: 7/15 at 1:00 p.m. ET
Exhibitor Orientation: 7/15 at 3:00 p.m. ET

2. Book your hotel room for NVNR 2026

The deadline to reserve your room at the conference rate is July 10. Room blocks tend to fill up quickly so the earlier you make your reservations the better.

Contact SIBA if there are any issues.

3. Plan your NVNR Orders

Every order placed at NVNR gives your store a chance to win a $ 1,000 cash prize.

4. Go over your store emergency preparedness plan

As we come into hurricane and forest fire season, bookstores should revisit their plan for emergencies and crisis situations. Taking steps now can mean weathering a crisis more safely, and recovering more quickly.

5. Send SIBA photos of your summer catalog displays.

SIBA is offering a $50 credit against membership renewals for stores that share their catalog promotions.

6. Register for Lunch and Learn with Margaret Harrison & Courtney Seitz / Ingram Content Group

July 8 at 12:00 p.m. on Zoom

Ingram Covered is a new tool designed to strengthen that connection by expanding access, elevating diverse catalogs, and removing the roadblocks in how booksellers discover, evaluate, and plan for forthcoming content. Register
