As a children's bookstore, Growing Minds has watched a considerable portion of their clientele mature with the store. Owner Jennifer will talk about her mindset of flexibility and adaptability around curation, merchandising and inventory as the store and her customers grow up together.

BACKWATER BOOKS : CREATING A COMMUNITY HUB
At Backwater Books, owners Alli and Matt don't just operate a bookstore: they also have a full-bar, live music venue, art gallery and a pizza pop-up! They'll talk to booksellers about the unique balancing act of operating different businesses with different models, and how bringing them all together under one roof has created a one-of-a-kind community hub.
