SIBA Member a PW Bookstore of the Year 2026 Finalist

The Book Worm Bookstore in Powder Springs, Georgia, is a finalist for the 2026 PW Bookstore of the Year.

“I wanted to see my own vision, and I wanted everyone to see themselves,” [Julia R. Davis] says of her decision to buy the Book Worm, which had been a used bookstore since its founding in 2005. “But when you’re looking at used inventory, there's not a lot of diversity.” Still, she adds, “when I walked in that first time, it gave me a Shakespeare and Company vibe, and I knew this was it. I've been able to not only make it my own, but I’ve created the community that I always wanted to have, a place of refuge.”
