NVNR 2026 Author Submissions Close Friday, 4/17

There is still time to submit authors for the 2026 New Voices New Rooms Conference, August 2-5 in Baltimore. From panels to receptions to featured authors at meals, NVNR offers many opportunities to get your author in front of booksellers from SIBA and NAIBA. An intimate experience on a grand scale, author appearances are curated to reach their perfect audience of booksellers.

The deadline to submit is 4/17.

What you should know:

• Event opportunities include panels, receptions, and meal events.
• Small press pricing is available.
• Priority is given to authors with books releasing in the Fall of 2026 and Winter/Spring of 2027.
• Submissions of authors from underrepresented communities are strongly encouraged.
• An exhibit reservation is not required to submit an author, but confirmation of any author in the program is contingent on their book being represented on the exhibit floor.

Over 85 booksellers from 55 bookstores have already registered within the first week. The NVNR conference draws booksellers from 18 states from the Gulf of Mexico to the Great Lakes, and from the Mississippi River to the Atlantic Coast. There are about 690 bookstores served by SIBA and NAIBA. NVNR offers an unparalleled chance to put your authors in front of the booksellers who could be their best and most enthusiastic advocates.
