2006 Membership Dues Schedule

Special Offer from the ABA! If you join American Booksellers Association (ABA) as a new member, they will pay your SIBA dues for one year!

How to apply:

Step 1: Fill out the SIBA membership form

Step 2: Go to http://www.bookweb.org/join/5531.html and use the promotional coade 2006 REGNL in the space provided on the application. The ABA will then contact SIBA to confirm your membership and pay your dues for 2006.


SIBA has three categories of membership. Please click on a category to pay your dues:

Bookstores
(SIBA's core membership)
Exhibitors (Anyone who either exhibited in the SIBA Tradeshow last year, or plans to this year)
Associates (all others)

Bookstores (Annual Gross Sales)

Owners of independent, privately-held, brick & mortar bookstores in AL, AR, FL, GA, KY, LA, MS, NC , SC , TN, VA.

Exhibitors

Anyone who plans on exhibiting at the Fall Trade Show this year, or exhibited last year can join SIBA as member of this category. This includes publishers, Distributors, Sales Reps and anyone else involved in the industry.

Associates

Anyone who is not a core bookstore member of SIBA, or who is not exihibiting at the SIBA Trade Show can join SIBA under this category. This includes non-exhibiting authors, Teachers, Librarians, Bookstores outside the southeast, and others involved in the book industry.

The Southern Independent Booksellers Alliance membership year runs through December 31 of each year. Dues must be paid by the annual Trade Show in the Fall. Membership is open to retail bookstores, as well as to book publishers, distributors, reps, vendors, prospective booksellers, national chain booksellers, and others with a professional interest in the book industry.
