SIBA

SIBA has three levels of membership: Bookseller, Exhibitor, and Associate. The Southern Independent Booksellers Alliance membership year runs through December 31 of each year. Dues must be paid by the annual Trade Show in the Fall. Membership is open to retail bookstores, as well as to book publishers, distributors, reps, vendors, prospective booksellers, national chain booksellers, and others with a professional interest in the book industry.

Bookseller: ($150) Owners of independent, privately-held, brick & mortar bookstores in AL, AR, FL, GA, KY, LA, MS, NC, SC , TN, VA. Bookstores with multiple locations must register each location separately.

Exhibitor: ($195) Anyone who plans on exhibiting at the Fall Trade Show this year, or exhibited last year can join SIBA as member of this category. This includes Publishers, Distributors, Sales Reps, Commission Reps, Wholesalers, and anyone else involved in the industry.

Associate: ($500) Anyone who is not a core bookstore member of SIBA, or who is not exihibiting at the SIBA Trade Show can join SIBA under this category. This includes non-exhibiting authors, Teachers, Librarians, Bookstores outside the southeast, Prospective Booksellers and others involved in the book industry.
