On the theory that its member stores know their own markets best, SIBA has collected and collated the press lists of it booksellers into a database of media contacts highly specialized for the Southern market. Now publishers can take advantage of this on-the-ground knowledge by using SIBA’s Press Release Service to make sure their announcements reach the widest possible audience. SIBA’s list of more than 1300 media markets spreads across 11 states, fully a quarter of the country. Press releases can be sent to the entire list, or targeted to specific states.
